Dear Podcast/V-Log Making People:

Please learn to script and edit your shows. 30-60 minutes is about the maximum amount of time I'm going to want to listen to what anyone has to say. Longer than that and I'm wandering away to do something else. Maybe if I had an iPod and actually downloaded I'd be willing to give 2 hours to you...

But I doubt it...

You know COX, you probably would have been better off NOT sending me the COX Customer Guide. Then I would have continued to think I had GOOD internet. Instead of finding out I likely have crap internet and would have to pay you 3 to 4 times as much a month for REAL high-speed. Now I have to go to the fucking hassle of checking out what would be required to switch to Qwest or someone else...

The more people at this location, the more of a logjam it creates for forces trying to shut down Iranians' access to the internet. Cut & paste & pass it on.

Twitter's Underpinnings

I'm using Twitter right now to follow less than a dozen people. Over a third of whom are fictional. But I keep wondering. Where exactly is the money supposed to be? Are their ads I don't see because of my ad-blockers? Otherwise I can understand its popularity of use, but not to investors. Where is the revenue on this thing?

All better now

Internet was down all morning. Just got it working again. The COX automated help line works pretty well. At least for simple problems. Of course I did have to shout "continue" at it in various tones to get the voice thingy to comprehend me...

My car is going back in the shop, again, tomorrow. Where I'll get to borrow money from my family, again, to pay for the making it run...

My cable modem has been acting wonky on and off all week...

My job situation is still at the "maybe we'll give you more hours, maybe not, who's to say" stage...

I have no idea what the current situation is with keeping my Saturday game going...
