The tv critic who they pulled the "Gilmore Girls meets Juno" blurb form needs a ding upside the head. Because I don't think they've ever actually seen the latter two. The only thing the three have in common is teen-age pregnancy. This show lacks any of the wit, charm or even snappy dialogue of those two...

So terrible. So very terrible. It has some kind of awful gravity to it that makes me keep switching back and watching more. Why? WHY DO I HURTS MYSELF? The bad combo 2-d and CG animation. The writing. Oh gods. Long lost secret brothers? Ludicrous pseudo-science even a Trek writer would reject. SO BAD!

Really?

The BBC has a UK Gladiators show? Er. Ok then. Still the gladiators seem to talk more smack than I remember from the original show. Wonder if that happens on the US remake also...

At risk shows being picked up:

Private Practice
Life on Mars
Gary Unmarried
Worst Week
The Mentalist
Elventh Hour
Chuck
Life
Knight Rider
Kath & Kim
Fringe
90210
Privileged

At risk and gone:
Pushing Daisies
Eli Stone
Dirty Sexy Money
The Ex List
My Own Worst Enemy
Lipstick Jungle
Crusoe
Do Not Disturb
Valentine
Easy Money

Of the picked up ones, Gary Unmarried and Kath & Kim confuse me the most. Are people really watching these two utterly unfunny sitcoms? NBC is a wash dropping one average show (MOWE) and two stupid ones (Crusoe and Lipstick Jungle), keeping two good ones (Life and Chuck) while keeping K&K and Knight Rider. ABC is dropping two GREAT shows in Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money, one better than average one in Eli Stone (although the roommate's always liked it a lot) and keeping the simply awful spin-off show Private Practice. CBS is only dropping one stupid show but its keep list is all over the place...

Also four of the "saved" shows are imported adaptations. Three from England and one from Australia...

Wow. This show is EXACTLY as bad as I'd imagined it would be. Needs some 'Hoff obviously...

This is not a good show. Even ignoring the bad acting from the supporting witness-of-the-week actors. You've got sarcasm instead characterization. And blonde Marshall? She's remarkably bad at her job. Because nothing is a good move for a US Marshall like taking the witness you picked up five minutes ago to a murder scene of someone ALREADY IN the program. And then you give the witness a nice speech about how her old life is TOTALLY over and she can never EVER talk to anyone from that life. And then you drop her at a crappy apartment and forget about her...

Oh and look. Now she's going onto the Rez to drop some racist insults to investigate a crime. Not that I'm aware that Marshalls who are part of Witness Protection would do that...

Bad. Bad show. Bad acting. Bad writing. BAD!

Can someone PLEASE explain the popularity of Family Guy? Anyone? I can't see what is appealing about the show at all. And I've watched more episodes than I like to dwell on and I can't recall getting more than a smirk out of any of it. Why are people, apparantly sane people, people who's opinions I normally respect, into this show?

Come on. Some one help me understand...

I tried to watch this again. Making it only my second attempt to do so. I know I shouldn't have, as even the fools who say that 'Family Guy' is good (which it isn't) don't like this show. But I was lured in by what seemed to be Patrick Stewart doing the voice work for what seemed to be a crazier version of his character from 'Conspiracy Theory'...

And so I waited for the funny.

And then waited some more.

And then they had a fake commentary voice over.

Followed by another minute of waiting for the funny.

And then I turned off the tv and went to take a shower 'cause I suddenly felt unclean...
