A Descent into Dullness

Every once in awhile a sitcom comes along that doesn't tell the same tired jokes and cliched stories. Instead it delivers humor about men who box a kangaroo, children who engage in blackmail to get a jet pack ride or schlubs who have sex with someone's grandmother played by June Lockheart. And then no more than a handful of people watch the show so it gets canceled, most likely to be replaced by something involving free videos of people getting hit in the crotch to "amusing" sound effects. But then years later the people who still own the show realize that even small fandoms can buy enough DvD sets to make a profit. And so then people can have complete series sets, including unaired episodes. And for a few brief hours you can be happy and escape your stupid, dull, frustrating life by laughing at someone else's worse screwed up life...
