New Comics Day 12/10
Dec. 10th, 2008 10:00 pmI had to leave three titles in my box this week. This makes me a sad, sad panda. I mean I'd be sadder if I hadn't been able to pick up seven others, but still. Sad, sad panda...

Oh well, at least this panda's got some comics. Like the new Secret Six. Where we get to meet the newest Sixer, Jeanette the Last Victim. No, I don't know what that means. But she does tear King Shark's arm off at one point...
And 100 Bullets gets ever closer to the end. Issue 98, and the remaining members of the Trust prepare to meet and Cole repays a debt to Mr. Branch...
A new ps238 sees Malphast, Cecil and the Tylers working to end the Earth-based war between the forces of Chaos and Order before it can get a chance to get going...
Savage Dragon has further fall-out from the death of Solar Man, a last-minute rescue for Rita and William and Malcolm and the other kids encountering Mr. Glum in Dimension X...
Over on the second to last I Kill Giants Barbara throws down with the Titan to protect Sophia and her mom...
Then in Invincible Mark has a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend, while his brother attempts to have his first solo outing...
And we finish with volume two of Gillen/McKelvie's Phonogram, Phonogram The Singles Club. Seven separate stories centered around a dance club. This first, "Pull Shapes", focuses on dance-based Phonomancer Penny B. Man, McKelvie's art is to damn sweet. Though some credit of course goes to his colorist Matthew Wilson...
