Sean Connery and Michael Caine are ex-soldiers in HMRA and a pair of lovable rogues as were ever too quick to be hung. And so the two decide to go forth and conquer the small Asian country of Khasitan. Sure its just the two of them and they don't speak the local lingo and they've got to cross hostile Afghanistan and brutal, frozen peaks. But Alexander the Great did it once. And if some ponce Greek can do it then it shouldn't be any job at all for a pair of men who served in the Regiments...

This is one of the best Buddy Adventure movies of all time. And if you watch the special features, you see what it was like when actors (not stunt doubles) did real stunts, like fall 80 feet into a pile of cardboard boxes. That's crazy!
