Rogue One: Best to get those Disney related rewatches in now.  And that Darth Vader bit at the end is always chilling.

the Founder: Story of the founding of the McDonald's empire and the man who helped build and steal it from the original McDonald brothers.

Arrow s.1:  Where that whole Berlanti/DC 'verse begins.  And its..nice?  Sure, nice to see that Ollie can be just as much of a bonehead sometimes as his buddy Barry.

Cavalry:  Brendan Gleeson is a small town priest who recieves a death threat from a parishoner during the confessional.  Which leads to him contemplating the nature of good and evil and sin and justice.  Gleeson is a fucking treasure...

Chef: John Favreau is a highly paid chef who has a meltdown after an internet feud with a food blogger.  Leading to him going on a road trip in a food truck with his son.  Cute movie with a nice cast...

Horns:  I'd managed to forget how really brutal the rape/murder in this was in the book.  Really hard to watch on screen.  Good apadaptation though, just that scene is somewhat neccesarily horrible...

For a movie that starts in Mumbai and moves to southern France, everyone in this sure does speak a lot of English.  Other than starting with a fairly gruesome mom-a-cide by fire there really isn't much that surprises here.  Not that its bad or anything.  Its just fairly predictable.  Though I could have done with more of the sub-plot where feuding restauranteurs Helen Mirren and Om Puri move from enemies to paramours.  They were a much cuter couple then the pair the story focuses on...

Lots of food porn in this as well.  I mean not literally.  Just lots of gorgeous looking meals...

Happiness is taking the two clearance rack ties up to the counter and when scanned they show as 75% off instead of the marked 50% off.  Which meant an extra ten in my budget for steaks.  Which were also on sale.

Back from a birthday dinner at the Texas Steakhouse (or maybe it was Roadhouse).  Loud and slow but good food.  Also peanuts.  They just a giant barrel of peanuts by the door for people waiting and a bucket of them at the table.  Anyway, I had a 11oz rare sirloin with steak fries and green beans.  The beans were sauted or something with bacon and onions, very tasty and I'm normally a take 'em or leave 'em for green beans...

The roommate decided to hit up a local Mexican joint featured on Man vs. Food. Not the challenge one for that episode, just one of the places he goes before that. Brought home a Del Ray sammich, which he had to split with me. Huge fuckin' thing. Full of ham and chorizo and beef and an egg and guacamole and tomatoes and stuff. Just sooooo big. Tasty though. Very tasty...

Julie is a young woman who worries she lacks purpose or direction. So she decides she'll spend a year cooking every recipe in Julia Childs cookbook. The movie is split between Julie (Amy Adams) and parts of Julia's (Meryl Streep) life before she became a household name. Amy Adams has easily become one of my personal favorite actresses to watch. And Meryl Streep is Meryl fuckin' Streep. Also I had no idea Childs was some kind of giantess...

Muenster cheese is the blandest nothing of, not cheese, but of near anything I've eaten. And I'm not much of an adventuresome eater...

This was a..surprisingly good action/disaster movie. Much more so then the recent spate of "and then the world was fucked and their was nothing anyone could do" movies. And the animation of the giant weather food was very cleverly done. Plus plenty of funny. Just a delightful surprise all around...
