spoonyone and his brother Miles to order it this, because it looked likely to suck the ass. But at the last minute they decided to get it, so I went and hung out and watched with them...
With only 8 matches for a 3 hour, 45 minute show there was a lot of video clips and replays and padded entrances and exits. And thats in an event that featured Undertakers full Evil Druid Intro sequence...

A couple good matches, but nothing I'd have paid the ppv price for. Especialy since the next ppv, Backlash looks to be an almost replay of this...

"From the "Not Exactly Shocking" File: WWE has decided to stay the hell away from the Hammerstein Ballroom this summer, and has rescheduled the ECW One Night Stand PPV for Jacksonville, FL. On one hand, I say: Smart move, because there are vindictive fans in NYC who would pay good money just to get on PPV and shit all over what WWE has done to ECW. There's a very good, very real chance that by June, RVD will be gone, CM Punk will be buried, and the announce team will be Todd Grisham and Brad Armstrong. WWE would be CRUCIFIED by those fans.
On the other hand, I say: SISSIES~!

Pity. Watching the hard-core, evil bastards that make up the East coast ECW fandom burn down the building was the only reason I might have bought this PPV...

Plus what was probably one of Cena's best shoots. He stayed mostly on topic, avoided relying on the Wiggerspeak and managed to push himself and ECW relaunch. Orton on the other hand meandered all over the place...
Though the announcer hate between Lawler/JR and Tazz/Styles see-sawed between amusing and annoying. Up to the point of the brawl. That was nice...

Playboy Pillow Fight. As my friend Miles pointed out, there were no pillows used in this pillow fight. I hate nearly all Diva matches...
High Points: Women's Championship. Except when they have some of the few Diva's who can actually wrestle. I like Mickie James. She's a crazy lesbian and who doesn't love that?
HBK vs. McMahon. Off the TALLER ladder, putting Mr. McMahon (who was in a trash can) through the table. With Degeneration X "suck it" gestures. This was just a savage beating once they got past the Evil Spirit Squad and Shane's attempt at interferance...
'Taker vs. Mark Henry. Well the last minute and a half anyway. 'Taker STILL has the most annoyingly drawn out entrance of anyone. Still watching him vault over the ropes crush Henry and then later drop the Tombstone Piledriver on him? A reminder of when 'Taker deserved the name the Phenom.

Oh goody. Its Heigenreich. And he's gonna try to be scary. And then run away from the Undertaker. Because Heiggy's gimmick is he's big and scary. Big. And Scary. Except of course, he's not. He's like the 50th variant on the big, scary, crazy dude in the last year or so. And except for Lezner, NONE of them have gone over.
C'mon McMahon you've got the cream of the crop from ECW. Let them tear the joint up. Get Taz out of the suit and back in the ring. Let 'em fly. Let 'em jump off cages and hit people with chairs and do flying ddp's and snapmares and so on.
But nope. We gotta press the steriod monsters. Because apparantly the majority of WWE fans are FUCKING IDIOTS who want this dull shit. Why else would they have picked the dull as dirt cage fighter over all the more intresting and more energetic contestants on the last Tough Enough...
Some one tell me when Smackdown gets intresting again, 'cause I give up.
Oh and WWE writers. Give Mysterio a new finisher. Because setting up the 619 in every match is just silly looking...
