Not the movie to change someone's mind about Wes Anderson if they don't like his movies. But is a good one to serve as an introduction to the man's directorial style if they haven't experienced it themselves. While still quirky in that special Anderson way, probably less so than say Darjeeling Limited. While its the kid actors that really shine hear, there are also some great work being shown by Frances McDermod, Bruce Willis, Ed Norton and regulars Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray...

I think this is now my favorite Wes Anderson movie. Its just cussin' brilliant. I can't recall ever reading the book as a kid though, I don't think I ever got into Dahl. The titular Mr. Fox is a chicken- and thief who goes into a less risky line of work after getting married and having a son. But he ends up going back to his thieven' ways after he moves his family to a new home near the three meanest and richest farmers around...

Clooney meshes well with Anderson's cast of regulars and the animation is just perfect. The whole movie is wonderful and smart and fun and moving and funny and clever. And it even has an excellent sound-track. Though I can't recall an Anderson movie that doesn't have that...

Three brothers (Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman) take a train ride of spiritual discovery in India as a means of reconnecting as a family. At least thats the plans of the oldest (Wilson). Directed by Wes Anderson and full of the themes and concepts common to his movies. If you're not a fan, this won't likely be the movie to win you over. Luckily I'm already a fan...

Just got back from seeing The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou with my friends Brandon the Comic Shop Clerk and Brendan the Comic Shop Clerk. But for rival comic shops...

Anyway, great movie. I still like Wes Anderson's first movie best, but I think this one was actually the better movie. Bill Murray is fucking hilarious and even Owen Wilson shows more range as comic actor. Oh and Anderson owes the director of Buckaroo Banzai a buck for stealing his end credits scene...
