A Descent into Dullness

Thanks to When Fangirls Attack I've been seeing a lot of hate on Piccoult's 1st issue of Wonder Woman. And normally this wouldn't bother me. I've read a few WW trades, but its not a title I've ever picked up. But that doesn't mean much. I don't own any Superman books either. And I've got more trades dedicated to Grimjack or a certain Samurai bunny than I do Batman. But I don't like seeing my friends unhappy. Even internet friends. So please do two things. Get someone on Wonder Woman who has a vague idea what the character should be like. And second, a creative team that can put out a MONTHLY book...

If you're wondering what the Amazon Princess SHOULD be like, let me point you towards the much missed Justice League and Justice League Unlimited cartoons. We want the Diana who beats the hell out of a bunch of Thangarian warriors, tosses them at the feet of their buddies and asks "Who's next?" The Amazon who throws herself defiantly at the likes of Mongul, Darkseid or even a talking, psychic gorilla. The warrior who is SO DAMNED AWESOME that the FREAKING Batman sang her a torch song...


P.S. Also please make mightygodking the new writer for the LSH. Or demiurgent. Or both even. Yeah. Thats the ticket. The writing team of Bird & Burns would be LEGENDARY...
