New Comics Day 5/8/13
May. 10th, 2013 06:28 pmA fairly light week, though the roommate did grab some stuff from Free Comic Book Day. Nothing really worth holding on to, with the exception of the always great Atomic Robo and Archaia promo books. Sadly the latter isn't a hard-cover this time around...
From comics I paid money for, we've got a new Knights of the Dinner Table. With more fall-out from the whole make characters based on your friends contest. And the UT+1 fighting the army of former Bag World bandits. Plus some stuff showing Hard8 moderating their forums that reminds me a bit too much of why I stopped hanging out at Kenzerco's site...
Then some Prophet with Old Man John Prophet gathering allies and info in space still. And New-Father John Prophet working to take back the Earth as part of the attempt to recreate the Empire of Man...
And lastly an unexpected return of G-Man, with the new series picking up with the return of G-Man and Great Man from the Magic Realms. Where they'd gone in the last series to replace their destroyed magic cape/belt/blanket...
