lurkerwithoutA relatively light pull this week. Though I did get my order of Justice League International vol 2. The art transfer to the hardback volume from the original floppies isn't always the best, especially in some of the early years. And of course its especially good to see Dymtri, Ted, Max, Captain Atom and Scott all still alive and refusing to take things too seriously. I especially enjoy seeing non-sociopath Max refusing to roll over for freaking Waller. Stupid, stupid STUPID retcon...
As for the regular pulls its mostly Marvel books with the exception of a new FEAR Agent. Where Heath makes a mad naked dash for the desert looking to escape a murderous horde of women who all look like one of his exes. Plus a back-up where he learns about humanities secret origin...
As for Marvel, we start with a new X-Men: First Class, which has a guest appearance by Medusa, who is searching to learn the secrets of her origins. Which also leads to her being an X-Man for like 5 minutes...
Then on Skrulls vs. Power Pack, the Power kids make a jail break right as Franklin, HERBIE and Smartship Friday show up to help. Which leads to everyone going all gangsta to find out who framed them. Thug Katie and Bling HERBIEmayARE among the greatest things ever...
And then *sigh* more Skrulls, with Guardians of the Galaxy also having a Secret Invasion tie-in. Though it does have Major Victory brawling with a panicked mob and more Cosmo...
