New Comics Day 8/13

lurkerwithoutTalked to my shop today about some of the titles that I keep missing. Comic Book Comic, ps238 and Proof. All of which they haven't been getting, though they DO show on my subs list. They said they'll look into it which is good. And try to figure out why their subs system keeps putting Elephentman back on my list. Their computer REALLY wants me to buy that title for some reason...
As for this week I've got the finale for The Last Defenders. Which means I managed to miss an issue. Which is my fault, since its one of my Grab From the Rack pulls and not a sub. And I should have remembered to check the older on the wall issues to see if the store had it. Oh well. This finish was nice. Felt a little bit flat, though I like the current line-up. With Kyle Richmond merely backing the team and not being an actual member...
And in 100 Bullets, Dizzy and Lono meet at the same time as Augustus, Javier and Graves have a sit down. The meeting doesn't go particularly well...
Also out is a KoDT one-shot, KODT Special: Last Man Standing. Which is mostly about a paintball feud between the Knights and the Black Hands. One that spirals out to draw in the rest of the gaming community. I love the couple panels with Crutch. Or the scenes with Nitro...
Gods, do I wish Angel: After the Fall had a better artist. Because most of his panels have people looking like mannequins. In some cases featureless mannequins. Which is annoying with this issue dealing with Angel and VampGunn having a sit down...
And I decided to start checking outben_templesmith's latest Welcome to Hoxford. Which I think is going to be "What if Arkham was run by cannibals"? Looks to be an interesting read...
