Twas not the good. A few decent scenes (Jet Li very rarely does a bad fight scene), Brandon Frasier is charming as always. But the scripting? The dialogue? The actors playing Alex and Lin the Ninja Girl? Bad. I didn't have any problems with Maria Bello as the replacement Evie. She doesn't have the jaw dropping hotness of Weisz, but she still had good chemistry with Frasier...

Man so many stupid plot points. And lots of annoying little details. Like that the actor who played Alex sounded like he was from New York or something. Odd for a character who grew up as a somewhat upper class Brit...

So you want Frasier beating up monsters pulp hero style? Rent the first one. Want a tale of immortals and kung fu and Jet Li? Wait for the dvd for Forbidden Kingdom. This movie might, just MIGHT, be worth investing free time in on television. Thats about it...

Part of me wants to slap you for spending money to see it. But that part is outweighed by the urge to offer you hugs for the brain damage - cause damn.

Not that your description sounds any different from what I'd thought it'd be - based on the commercials.

And I still don't believe in any other Evie but Rachel Weisz

Technically it was my mom and step-father's money. They'd both already seen Batman and Hellboy 2, my mom hates Kevin Costner so "Swing Vote" was out and even AFTER seeing it, I'd still pick this movie over spending time watching "Step Brothers"...
