I am just not feeling the Static as a Titan vibe I keep getting from the announcement. It's like in the DCU he is going to become Black Lightning Junior.

I'm not sure how they'll be merging it in. But with McDuffie writing JLA I'd expect that title to be involved. DiDio did say that Dakota would become another DCU city like Gotham or Metropollis or what not...
