Instigating from boredom

More words from Jimmy M. But since he's on one of those long-winded rambles of his, I'll put them behind a cut. Because honestly I'm the one rattling his cage and I still find it very much tl;dr
I don't take you personally Jimmy. I find it amusing to rattle the bars and see you react. Honestly I want to see if I can replace Ragnell as your #1 enemy. But don't worry Ami, you're still my Nemesis and I'm still plotting your doom. DOOOM!!!
Now I do wonder if Jimmy is the one who created Irrational Madman Boy as a sock puppet. It doesn't seem likely, Jimmy can actually spell. Man I don't think I got a threat or insult in that 2nd one. Now I'm sad...
Ok, lets add some actual comics content to this post, so its not just me mocking Jimmy in a Trollish attempt for a reaction...
You people have been buying ps238 right? Because if I recall my LCS e-mail for this week, there was another issue already hitting the stands. If you enjoy super-hero comics this is a book you should definitely be reading. Aaron Williams' was a pure genius for writing about a grade school for super-humans. Plus his characters have more depth and awesome to them than many Big Two books using characters with 50 plus years of back-story. AND he's got the genius kid of a Mad Scientist version of Phil Foglio. AWESOME!
Anyway, if you want to test the waters he does an ongoing web version where he puts up the older issues. Here's the start of the online archive. Go read! Then go buy! GO NOW! Come back to mock (or defend if you like) Jimmy later!
"James Meeley compared Tim Liebe to a wife-beater and called him a 'bad feminist.'"
Actually, I said his rationale of "slapping respect" ionto someone is akin to the types of rationales used by wife-beaters. He's threatening physical violence on someone, with the hope it will "improve" them. Sounds an awful lot like the think of many wife-beaters, doesn't it? And I'd say using that kind of rationale, would show someone as a "bad feminist". After all, would a "good feminist" not think in those terms, even if they were issuing an insult? And Timmy-boy asked if wanting to this made him one. I merely pointed out that it does.
Is that equal to calling him a misogynist? I don't think so. I don't know that he hates women or not. I know he obviosuly must hate Scott, to issue a threat like that. And he uses a rationale that someone who could be called a misognist would use. But that just makes him a bad feminist, not a misogynist. But since he wants to hit Scott, it might make him a gay basher. Is that a step up, IYO?
"He also called Tim "a punk-ass little pussy, who has his balls in his wife's purse," which may not rhyme with "misogynist," but is equally as ad hominem."
So, it doesn't fit with being called a misogynist, but you are going to use it like it is, knowing it doesn't do that, so you can try to paint Scott as a liar? Isn't that a bit like an "ad hominem?" Does this mean I'm defending Scott from being called a misogynist now? And if ad hominem counts as misogyny, wouldn't that make just about every loud-mouthed feminist online (including yourself) a misogynist? Because you've done that more than a few times yourself, sweetie.
"I now look forward to your long-winded explanation about how that's totally not what happened."
Oh, there's no need for him to do that. Not only because I took care of the long-winded response myself, but you did more than a good enough job yourself of showing how that isn't what happened.
Really, nenena, you need to take Ami's advice and not take all this stuff so seriously. I mean, it's the Internet, people are going to be jerks. Getting angry about it only damges your credibility, remember?
"Ami is right - you're taking this all way too personally."
Gee, why would he take a threat of a physical confromtation to his person PERSONALLY? I guess that really does make no sense. Of course, it could be worse. He could get all pissy about a comic book story he didn't like, or a statue that he feels was "offensive." Only a total nimrod would allow themselves to get so furious over something like that, right?
Oh, and as for my comments about Timmy-boy, I stand by them. If he (or you, or lurkerwithout, or ANYONE, really) has a problem with them, don't take it so personally. You shouldn't care what I think. It's the Internet, you know. You have no realy reason to get so upset. :P
But my offer still stands.
I don't take you personally Jimmy. I find it amusing to rattle the bars and see you react. Honestly I want to see if I can replace Ragnell as your #1 enemy. But don't worry Ami, you're still my Nemesis and I'm still plotting your doom. DOOOM!!!
"James, ppl are just joking. Calm down. xD"
So am I. Boy, you take this stuff WAAAAY too seriously, Ami. You need to chill out, hon. I mean, it's the Internet. It doesn't matter what someone says about anyone, you two-faced, back-stabbing, duplicitous skank-bag! :)
Hey, all you feminists who I know can't help but come here and read this, you need some serious deep-dickin', you fat, ugly, PMS-ing bitches! Why don't you all get off your computer for a while, you whiney raggers, and "get off." Maybe you wouldn't be such a pain in the ass to everyone else, if you did. XD
Oh, but don't anyone be mad at what I said. I'm just joking around. Don't take it so seriously, you sillies. It's the Internet, folks, it doesn't matter how you act towards or treat others. And you have no right to get pissy about it, either. You just need to chill out, because it doesn't even matter. :)
"Nenena, I appreciate the defense XD"
Wow, you thought that was a defense of you? I don't know what is sadder: That you don't see it was really an ad hominem at Scott and myself, or you'd consider that a defense of you (if it even was one) that should be seen as appreciated. Oh well, doesn't matter. I'm laughing at you either way. But don't take my finding you pathetic that way so seriously. Don't want to ruin your credibility, now do you? XD
Now I do wonder if Jimmy is the one who created Irrational Madman Boy as a sock puppet. It doesn't seem likely, Jimmy can actually spell. Man I don't think I got a threat or insult in that 2nd one. Now I'm sad...
