But first up from the pull list we've got a new Knights of the Dinner Table. With the best parts being the Knights being trapped in a dark room with B.A's devil-cat; Prowler. And later Bob crying into his beer about breaking up with Sheila. Turns out shes planning to...upgrade...to a new edition of HackMaster. Poor Bob...
Then its the next issue of Metal Men. Halfway in and we see that Doc Magnus' brother is a big jerk. Plus the historical first fight between the Metal Men and Chemo!
After that its last week's delayed Jack of Fables. Where Jack tells Gary about how he became Jack O'the Lantern. It involves the Devil. And also more warnings that the whole Jack Frost thing will eventually come back to bite him in the ass. Hard...
Over on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buff and Faith have a reunion. It goes about as well as can be expected. In that no ACTUALLY dies...
Then we've got the first issue of the new Groo: Hell on Earth. Pollution! War! Belching Cows! And of course, Groo to help things along...
After that its Lobster Johnson: the Iron Prometheus. Where the talking brain in a jar is the GOOD mad scientist. And the secret of the device is revealed. It involves an angel, lost Hypboria, lost Atlantis and monsters. Gods bless and keep you Mr. Mignola...
Criminal finishes up the first Tracy Lawless story arc with a robbery, a car chase and a confession or two...
Then another finale, this time for Super-Villain Team-Up Modok's 11. Ladies? Bit of advice. Don't break M.O.D.O.K's over-sized cybernetic heart. He'll take it badly...
And Annihilation: Conquest: Starlord also wraps things up. With most of Quill's plucky team of cast-offs captured or dead can the mission be saved? Hey with a U.S. Marine weilding the Uni-Force and the Cosmic Madonna still on the loose, its best to never say die...
And we'll finish up with the opening issue of the main Annihilation: Conquest. Starting with a rebel cell lead by Negative Zoner Blastaar things kick right into high gear. Then a horrific overview of what the Phalanx are doing with their captive Kree worlds, as Quasar and Moondragon try to get Adam Warlock caught up. Just in time for a Phalanx team to attack them. Holy crap! Xemnu the Titan cameo? Coool. Quick jump to check in with Ronan and Wraith's group, who are looking for allies in the areas controlled by Ravenous, the leader of the remains of the Annihilation Wave. Ok, so Adam helps them escape and hide in a sun. Ok, but he's working for someone else already? Who...HOLY FUCKING CRAP!! Wow. Ok, some of the Phalanx select are reporting to the Phalanx leader about losing Quasar, Moondragon and Warlock. Ok, so last page reaveal and...SON OF A BITCH HOLY FUCKING CRAP DO JEEBUS!!!
