And we're done

Brian Micheal Bendis used to be one of my favorite comics writers. Between Powers and Alias he was giving me a nice change-up from regular super-hero books with plenty of snappy dialogue. And I even enjoyed some of his older forays into crime and noir. But after seeing series of images at
scans_daily from a recent Avengers book, I'm done with him. But I'm tired of his willingness to make characters he seems to dislike seem utterly incompetent (Tigra, Spider-Girl, Speedball). Its not like I have to drop much. I don't do more than skim the odd Avengers book on the stands and right now I'm only buying the often delayed Powers. Which is getting dropped the next time I'm in the shop. Bendis can join Winnick, Geoff Johns and other former favorites in the Avoid Pile alongside the likes of Paul Jenkins and Mark Millar...
