Philip Seymour Hoffman's acting as Truman Capote drew my attention so much that Clifton Collins Jr's work snuck up on me. But his Perry Smith is spookily engrossing. Which is I suppose the point. Showing how an urbane wit like Capote could be entranced by Smith, despite his monsterous crime...
