Dead or Alive

This movie seems to be a fairly average gangster genre movie. I mean its got the Miike type stuff like pornographers filming bestiality and hookers bathed in their own crap. But OTHER than that kind of stuff, nothing you wouldn't expect from say Woo or any other director of the genre. You've got warring gangs, honest cops who face temptation, strippers and lots of gun fights...

And then the final act happens. Thats when everything just veers totally off into left field. I won't even try to describe beyond saying you'll find it TOTALLY AWESOME or think its the STUPIDEST SHIT ever made...

Me I lean towards the Awesome...

The last act makes up for sitting through the rest of the movie. There are two sequels, but I haven't seen them yet.
