I hope that one day, jason "cops can do no wrong" zavoda one day has to deal with having his personal rights trampled on. I basically trust the police, I mean I've got a friend who plans on being one. But I don't think they're perfect. I believe that mistakes can be made and that not every cop is a holy defender of the innocent from the evil of criminals and terrorists.

When the police fuck up they need to be called out on it. And not just given blanket immunity or "the terrorists win"...
