New Comics Day 1/12/11

So this a day late. I had important things to do. Involving..er..sleep. And games ending in 'ville. Anyway we'll start with the new Heroes for Hire. Where Abnett and Lanning make me like Paladin. The purple clad mercenary. Man, that hasn't happened since I was twelve and he teamed up with the Wasp to fight the Grey Gargoyle in some random Avengers issue...

The latest Secret Six is the second half of a story started in Action Comics. Which is the Lex Luthor Adventures book. But Simone does some nice expositioning with Ragdoll so that I can basically follow things. Which is basically a confrontation between Luthor and Vandal Savage where baldy has hired the Six (though there are seven of them present). Also Luthor has a killer girl 'bot he's named Lois. Thats just creepy...

Unwritten has Tommy stuck in the narrative of Moby Dick trying to communicate with what he thinks is his father. And Rich and Lizzie are captured in the "real" world by the mysterious puppet lady...

Savage Dragon wraps up its "Emperor Dragon" arc with a partial reboot. One that leaves me wondering who will be the new titular character...
