My Sam does talk. He says "miaow". Not his fault I'm not fluent in Cat...

A very heavy pull this week. Starting with Proof where romance is in the air for both Proof and Ginger. Plus visitors from the government and more cryptic prophesying from the Dover Demon...

The Invincible Returns one-shot sets up the next big arc for the regular book, plus has Mark going back towards his original costume as part of his reaction to killing the Sequid prime host...

Turf is a new book dealing with a Prohibition-era gang war. Where one of the warring families are vampires. Plus some kind of outer space ray-gun type aliens eventually will be involved...

I'm not sure about the Ian Churchill cover on the new Jack Staff. His Jack Staff just seems a little too..regular comics. But I do like that Betsy Burdock. I'm a little confused as to the plot for the comic, but I'm not sure if thats from missing an issue or just because of how damn busy Jack Staff is...

Fred Van Lente returns to the undead with Marvel Zombies 5. Aaron Stack, agent of A.R.M.O.R. is back, travelling across the Marvel multi-verse collecting samples of various types of zombie with a new partner. This time out its Earth-483 where its still the Old West...

And Thor and the Warriors Four is the latest Power Pack mini. This time around the Power kids are trying to find the Apples of Idunn to save their dying grandmother. And to do that they need to get to Asgard. They can't find Thor unfortunately but they do track down the next best thing, the Thunder Frog & the Pet Avengers! And then I get a back-up feature written and drawn by Colleen Coover where Johnny Storm has to baby-sit for the Pack kids. But he's got a date so he gets the Prince of Power, Hercules to fill in for him...

Cinderella: From Fabletown With Love wraps up as Cindy takes on her Fairy Godmother, unarmed and with only a mouse left for back-up...

And lastly we finish up with a new Knights of the Dinner Table. The strips this month concentrate on the UT+1 in Bag World. And the movie guy has moved from bland articles on how to vaguely use a movie for gaming ideas for a bland article on how to use the tv show Burn Notice. I need to stop even skimming that one like I have for the book review column. It just makes my head hurt...
