Every year userinfocygnia attempts to sneak her birthday past me. And every year I SEE ALL! So happy birthday!

A very light pull this week. So I grabbed the 2nd Immortal Iron Fist trade. It has magic kung-fu warriors beating up HYDRA. One of them is a dude named Fat Cobra. Sometimes its good to be a comics fan...

And speaking of good comics we've got a new G0dland. Adam Archer fights against and besides strange and alien beings. And on Earth Freidrich Nickelhead starts up his plan for the world's villains...

In the new Firebreather Duncan recieves a final lesson from his father while battling a powerful alien robot...

And quick on the last arc's finish is a Dynamo5 zero issue for a dollar. An ok little super-villain fight but mostly a good way to be introduced to the basic set-up without the exposition being too heavy handed...

Over on Invincible Mark faces a brand-new enemy of the "obsessed with vengeance and not accepting blame for his own mistakes" type...

And lastly is Guardians of the Galaxy, with the current Guardians line-up going into the Negative Zone to rescue Peter "Star-Lord" Quill from Blastaar and his army. Also Adam Warlock has a chat with the head of the Church of Universal Truth...

An ok movie. Amusing, if exceptionally predictable. The large cross-linked cast reminds me of Love Actually, though that is a better movie. If only because it has a bunch of Brits classing up the film. But really there is nothing terrible or terrific here. Worth watching on a lazy Saturday afternoon...
