So for this week's entries lets take a look at people's requests. And from that there are six games I own. Making it wholly appropriate to roll a d6 to determine from them.
1) Top Secret
2) Vampire the Masquerade
3) Paranoia
4) Champions/The Hero System
5) Hackmaster
6) Toon

And thats a 6. So this week we build a cartoon. Using the very 1st edition rules at that. A very skinny little book...
I really don't know what I want so we'll go with the random species and occupation tables. Species roll is 63 for bear and Occupation is 36 for Sailor. Next up stats, which for Toon are Muscle, Zip, Smarts and Chutzpah...
Muscle: 5
Zip: 1
Smarts: 1
Chutzpah: 4
Wow. Big & Brave while Slow & Dumb. Obviously officer material...
Next up is hit points, 6 plus a roll of 3 for a 9 total.
Description? Well he'll be a polar bear. And an admiral so he can wear an admiral hat. No pants, but a jacket full of medals. And big of course. And might as well take a name now. Admiral Bearington T. Bear...
Next we have Natural Enemies. Well too start I think as a big, dumb admiral he'd have a small, rebellious sailor. A Woody Woodpecker type. A 12 Species roll gives me a Human. So my character's natural enemy is a short Human sailor named Hugh Morris, who always plays practical jokes and slacks off from work...
Beliefs & Goals. Thats easy enough. Making Crewman Morris do his job. Punishing him for pranks. Keeping their boat ship-shape. Hmmm. Boat needs a name. Later for that. Thats 3 goals. Beliefs, beliefs, beliefs. Hmmm. Following the Navy Regulations. Jokes have no place at sea. That should do for now. Of course it means if this were for an actual Toon game I just created the straight man for everyone else to play off of...
And lastly possessions. I'm allowed up to four "unusual" possessions, but I'll just give my Admiral one. His boat. It'll be an old-fashioned sailing ship with rigging and cannons and stuff. The..um..USS Narwhale? Sure. Other than that he's got his uniform and a telescope and an officer's sword...
There we go. Here is my game list again if you want to suggest something else to add as a possible choice for next week. And feel free to make characters on your own from your own collections...
