I'm not a huge Mamet fan. I mean his movies are great and all, but they never really catch with me. And I'd be hard pressed to think of a director who gets more from his actors. Which given that the star of this one is Chitwel Ejiofor, who I'd watch in a movie where he sips a latte and waits for paint to dry, its really something. Even when I'm not sure WHY what happens in the end happens, it doesn't really matter. Because Ejoifor owns the screen. Owns it...
