Comment here and I'll pick seven of your interests to explain in your own LJ. [livejournal.com profile] scarybaldguy asked me about:

brian azzarello:

A writer of comics. Most notably the often confusing, but never dull, 100 Bullets.

d'shai:

The first of two (not three as insisted by a certain foolish roommate) books by writer Joel Rosenberg. A quasi-Oriental feudal fantasy setting, where some people have near-magical levels of skill at certain occupations. Like Soldier or Chef. The books follow the first person to exhibit the ability for the occupation Investigator...

kim newman:

Another writer. He's best known for his Dracula series, especially the first, Anno-Dracula, which has Drac marrying Queen Victoria and taking over England. The books also feature pretty well every other fictional character of the period, especially the vampires. The first one also has Jack the Ripper, Dr. Moreau, Mycroft Holmes, Fu Manchu and a host of others...

sifl & olly:

A weird, but funny as hell, show that MTV ran years ago. With sock puppets. "Precious Roy says: Buy my scare hookers!"

[livejournal.com profile] snarkoleptics:

The LJ community for fans of the blog Websnark. For discussion of both the blog, its writer [livejournal.com profile] demiurgent and webcomics in general...

the dollyrots:

A retro punk rock band. Does the songs "I'm Awesome" and "Brand New Key". Both favorites...

xxxenophile:

An adult comic created and drawn by Phil Foglio. Sexy and funny and weird. Also briefly a long out of print card game that I really wish I'd managed to get a copy of...

Rereading Sourcery

The Hashishim, who derived their name from the vast quantities of hashish they consumed, were unique among viscious killers in being both deadly and, at the same time, inclined to giggle, groove to interesting patterns of light and shade on their terrible knife blades and, in extreme cases, fall over.
