Mostly because it freaking awesome. Talking tigers! Little kids with gumption! Talking alligators that eat people without needing three pages of gore-a-rama! Its not just sweet its Supra Schweet...
Also this week we get the finale for the first arc of Criminal. And like most noir stories it ends with a lot of bodies and some violent, yet righteous vengeance. Plus there is a discussion by Brubaker, Charlie Huston, Warren Ellis, Greg Rucka, Patton Oswalt, Matt Fraction, David Goyer and Charles Ardai on NeoNoir movies that is going to add a mess of stuff to my netflix queue. Plus news of a director's cut of the Gibson Payback that is even darker and cynical than the original...
The 2nd to last issue of Phonogram comes out. And as always this is one of the best books I pick up that I fail to understand on sooooo many levels. One day I'm going to have to track down some of these BritPop and indy bands. I mean, I recogonize maybe 1 band name in 10...
