I can see why this is a classic. Glad I finally got around to watching all of it. Though I have to say, the romantic flashbacks seem weaker than the rest of the movie. I do wish the movie had more Peter Lorre. Guess I'll have to rewatch the Maltese Falcon for that...

Only 3 pulls from my regular list this week. But I did get the second DMZ trade, thus catching me up on that series. Also the second issue of Maintenance from Oni, this time are brave mad science mainenance workers travel in time and deal with some angry cave people. Also got Cthulu Tales: The Rising from Boom! Studios. Only flipped thru it so far, but it looks to contain tentacled nasty things and crazed fanatics. So thats good...

The store also had a sale on overstock Indy press titles. 3 comics for a dollar. Or any tpb for a buck. So I grabbed volume one of Thieves & Kings and Manny Bello's Hench...

From my pull list, first up are two much delayed book. Fell #7 where Detective Fell has a sit down with a killer, his lawyer and the local ADA. And then things don't go the way they should...

And also the second issue of Astro City: The Dark Age. The gang war continues, with Royal moving up in the ranks, Charles deals with being an outsider after refusing to take payoffs and the Apollo 11 return to Earth...

And finally the slightly less late Knights of the Dinner Table #122 came to Phoenix. This time around Bob tries to get his niece and nephew into gaming, we get another look at the GM's Post Game Night Meet-Up and some people in Muncie are apparantly stock piling player advantage coupons. As well as the usual collections of articles, including [profile] spoonyone's review/rant on Krull. Which I want back at some point dude...

And I'm at exactly 100 right now (there are a couple that have just started so I'm not sure if I'll keep following them). So this will be a series of 5 posts. And probably won't be a lot of indepth reviewing to it...
