New Comics Day
Oct. 12th, 2005 06:45 pmI can't believe its only quarter to seven. I'm so freaking tired. What a long day. But on to the comics. A fairly substantial pull this week...
First, the much delayed Invincible. Mark and his dad talk. More hints are dropped about Robot's master. Mark's mom is taking classes and lays some smackdown...
In the 3rd Battle Pope his holiness and Jesus wade thru an army of demons to continue with their rescue attempt of Gabriel...
Fables introduces us to the first refugee from the newly attacked Arabian lands. Sinbad. Plus some stuff on Mowgli's hunt for Bigby...
Villians United finishes up its run in order to make way for *sigh* all the Idenity Crisis stuff. And the big reveal of Mockingbird, both is and isn't who I thought it would be. A couple decent deaths, though no body major. Plus you get to see WHY the Syndicate members were recruited...
100 Bullets gives us some set-up with Lono, Loop and Victor. Some hardcore brutality by Lono and good dialogue driven story all around...
Green Arrow is all big ass fight scenes with GA & Black Lightning duking it out with Mirror Master and Killer Frost. Art is better than Battle, but not by much. I really, REALLY miss Hester.
And lastly a new Ex Machina where we meet Hizzoner's mom. Plus of course zee boobies! Not his mom's, but somebody elses. You sickos...
