So I had an interview today. I think it went pretty well. Kinda upscale airport location. At least the hotel LOOKS upscale, but I don't know what they charge or anything. But they're looking to have multiple people working the audit shift, which is cool. Airport locations are generally pretty busy with distressed passengers and what not, so that means even the middle of the night can suddenly turn busy. Plus I forgot to ask what the pay was. :shrug: Still they said I'd probably hear from them by Friday.
I'm also waiting to hear back from another place up on the freeway, a Mainstay Suite. I'd actually rather get this one. Small property, picky about who they rent to from what I overheard while filling out the application. They called me after getting my resume and had me come down at a specific time, but didn't interview, which was a little odd. But I like the slack potential of this place more.
Haven't heard anything back from the other 4 places I sent resumes to. And I've still got a couple where its just "come down and fill out an app" for contact info. But I'm hopeful.
Power napped for a couple hours to restore myself to some semblance of normal mental behavior for tonight. And then tomorrow I get to get up early again for the bloody Safety/Desk & Driver meeting. Why the fuck they moved these things from Friday, one of our slower days, when at least ONE of the auditors would be awake is beyond me. Plus Wednesdays are often busy with both check-outs and check-ins so Martha gets slammed with NO ONE else to help, not even housekeeping as they're all at the meeting...
