New Comics Day

Ok, so technically it was yesterday.  But I didn't feel like going out of the house yesterday.  So nyah.  Anyway today was much better for going out.  All grey and cloudy and drizzly.  I can't stop smiling, in spite of Phoenix having the worst Rainy Day drivers in the freaking world.

It was small pull week.  I've got an Astro City one-shot that actually came out last week, but that I didn't pick up till today.  Has a mini-intro comic and the rest is like excerpts from a tourism book for Astro City. Nice, but I kept wanting to be able to read the rest of the articles...

The only thing I actually got this week was part 5 of Identity Crisis, no huge surprises as to who buys it this issue.  But this series for me is becoming all about the character interaction.  Meltzer kicks total ass, giving people developed characters and personalities with a very limited medium.  Very nice.
