Urge to kill rising
Oct. 20th, 2004 01:44 amSo one of the groups that stays here regularly (and by that I mean for a month or more at time) are the various Phoenix police cadets. And since they often have to get up and get out before the free breakfast starts we provide them with a sack breakfast. Which B shift is supposed to do.
But I go and check on the meals and see that B shift did SIX of them. And one of those wasn't even finished. And we need 25.
And when they left they didn't tell me it didn't get finished. Which means around 3 am I have to go and finish making the other NINETEEN...
I wouldn't be so angry about it if they had WARNED ME that I'd need to do this. I can understand if they get to busy to finish something. Kinda. Since B shift has the MOST people on staff during that 8 hours. But I need more than "its been crazy busy all night" to let me know I need to finish something.
