Time for some semi-random rantin
Aug. 10th, 2004 02:32 amI'm bored...Soooooooooooooooo bored...
No work left to do except set up the breakfast stuff...And they want me to do all of it...Too bad for them I don't know WHAT all goes for the whole breakfest set up...But I'm gonna put the whole thing off 'till later...'Cause of the milk and stuff...
But nothing going on in LJ land...Not even my comics feeds...The Kenzer Boards are dead...Not even the Euros and other Nite Owls have anything to say...
I could read my book...Except I've read 'The Truth' like a dozen times already...Still once I start I'll get hooked again...Which is how nearly all of Pratchett's books work for me...
Hmmm...Can almost smell incense or smudge or something in the air...Maybe something floating from a room into the a/c and then down to me in the business center...
And now the Flipper theme is in my head...Why? I haven't seen an episode of flipper in years! Not even a rerun on tvland or animal planet or something...Of course I don't watch either channel but still...
Oh and we've got another new security guard...AGAIN...Thats like 10 or 12 since I've started...The last guy was ok...Chatty, which can get old...But at least he had some vague in common stuff with me...Gamed (even if it sounded like his game group was full on d20/Monty Haul/Munchkiness) and followed wrestling...
I guess I could actually look stuff on how LJ works...And make them linky things where you don't see the whole address...Just the blue word...Or how to make dem LJ Cut thingers...Or something...
Oh and my mom and step-father have another possible career for me...They want me to talk to a friend of theirs who has a small recording studio business, see if I can work as his assistant or something...Of course I have NO idea how to work the tech side of music recording and I've got a VERY limited tone range...Not tone deaf, but not a lot of variation either...
