So I didn't go in for comics until the Sunday after Black Friday and didn't get much. Then I skipped a week 'cause I thought I didn't get anything, though there was. So heavy pull for this week, with two weeks of books.
The Flintstones #6: Writer Mark Russell, Artist Steve Pugh, Colorist Chris Chuckry & Letterer Dave Sharpe. Can civilization (which is to say Bedrock City) survive the threat of DOOOM?
Giant Days #21: Written by John Allison, Pencils by Max Sarin, Inks by Liz Fleming, Colors by Whitney Cogar & Letters by Jim Campbell. The Girls get robbed and go looking for Justice. Also we learn that Daisy's parents were lost in the Bermuda Triangle. Which, hey, given the background of this comic, could mean they're still alive.
Saga #40: Art by Fiona Staples, Written by Brian K. Vaughan & Letters & Design by Fonografiks. Everything for the poor comet based community is about to go from really bad to totally fucked.
Arclight #3: Art and colors Marian Churchland, Story Brandon Graham & Letters Ariana Maher. This used to be part of Graham's 8House title, so it took me a bit to figure out whether I actually had the previous two issues.
Shutter #24: Writer Joe Keatinge, Artist Leila Del Duca, Colorist Owen Gieni & Letterer John Workman. Focusing in on the physical rehab and background of gunfighter Huckleberry. Who is apparantly half-dinosaur.
Savage Dragon #218: by Erik Larsen, Letters by Chris Eliopoulos, Colors by Kikos Kovtsis & Flats by Mike Toris. Malcolm runs about trying to see if his family's regenerative blood can be used to cure his father-in-law's cancer.
the Wicked & the Divine #24: Kieron GIllen Writer, Jamie McKelvie Artist, Matthew Wilson Colourist, Clayton Cowles Letterer & Dee Cunniffe Flatter. Continuing fall-out and readjustment from the death of Ananke and Persephone sort of being the remaining Gods' leader.
Monstress #8: Written by Marjorie Liu, Illustrated by Sana Takeda & Lettered by Rus Wooton. Adventures at Sea!
Island #13: Editors Brandon Graham & Emma Rios, Contributors Jack Cole, Grim Wilkins, Fil Barlow, Lando, Cynthia Alfonso & Roque Romero. A couple interesting silent stories. And one with a robot on a bicycle.
