Started up with the roommate's Tuesday game group. They were right at the start of a new campaign and so I joined in mid-battle on the initial encounter. The group is 10th level, so I rolled up a Human Witch, Abra Kadabra, and advanced them to that level. Witch Hexes are cool, especially when meshed with arcane spells up to 5th level...

The battle itself involved a dozen stone giants backed up by a red dragon attacking a town. Abra helped in taking down a pair of giants, then got to the roommate's Rogue/Wizard just in time to heal him after he got burned up by the dragon...
