Soooooo many comics this week. A heavy pull list even without the four titles I had to leave last week. Starting with The Eternal Confilcts of the Cosmic Warrior, which is kind of an occasional ongoing spin-off from Jack Staff. This first issue has a group of warrior types slaughter a monastary to steal a hand and then the Cosmic Warior shows up. Cool, but who knows how often Grist will manage to put out more of the story...

Then the now memoryless Savage Dragon jumps back on the Job, starting with dealing with a rampaging, mutated She-Hulk...

And the late Rex Splode from Invincible gets a two-issue origin story in Invincible Presents: Atom Eve & Rex Splode that also bridges the gap between the Atom Eve mini and the start of the main book...

Angel and Spike/Angel deal with scifi convention where everyone becomes what they're dressed as. Though I think Groosalug is a scene stealer this time around...

And I'm dropping Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Sure the cover by Adam Hughes is freakin' gorgeous. And it still has a few good moments. But mostly its just stupidly annoying. Maybe I'll try to trade-buy the series. Not sure yet...

But happily to make up for that disapointment Aragones and Mark Evanier present a new Groo mini, Groo: The Hogs of Horder. More social satire and jokes on Groo being stupid. Ah Groo, don't ever change...

Spinning off from Fables is Cinderella: From Fabletown With Love, written by Chris Roberson. Lovely cover and the series seems to be set in-between the end of the War and the arrival of Mr. Dark. This first issue is nearly all set-up and a bit lacking in the action department aside from the first page or two. Also I'm not sure why they've made Puss-in-Boots look like Garfield...

And Gail Simone hands over the Secret Six for an issue so that John Ostrander can give us a Deadshot centered issue. Probably because he and Simone are doing that Suicide Squad one-shot to tie-in with Blackest Night thats coming up...

The second issue of Astro City: Astra has the young, recently college graduated hero taking her boyfriend on a tour of the Gordion Knot. A world made up of various over-lapping worlds from when a Big Bad almost wiped out the Multi-Verse...

Knights of the Dinner Table continues the GaryCon story. With all kinds of secondary character cameos and shout-outs. Johnny Kazinski, Bridgette Keating and many others. Most not having been seen since the Grudge Match story...

The second bridging issue of X-Men vs. Agents of ATLAS is one big ATLAS vs. Army of X-Men brawl. Up until Namor comes in and acts as the voice of reason. Yeah, kind of unexpected there. Still weird seeing Cloak & Dagger as X-Men now though...

Man, didn't Nova just come out? *checks* Yep, issue 30 came out last week. Weird. Anyway its Warrior vs. Warrior as Rich attempts to bring his old friend Darkhawk into protective custody...

And finally I grabbed Greg Rucka's newest Stumptown. Female lead with some self-destruction issues? Check. Very noir story-telling? Check. Murky and deadly plot? Double check. Reads great so far...
