And so Wednesday Comics sadly comes to an end. Well except for those terrible "Teen Titans" and "Superman" stories. I mean I think the latter ends with Batman showing up Big Blue or something. But "Hawkman". Man, that one ends with Aquaman using his giant seahorse Storm to choke out a T-Rex so that Hawkman can crawl into its mouth and stab it in the brain. And that "Supergirl" ending is possibly the most awwwwdorable thing I've ever seen in comics...
Invincible heads back into space to catch up with Allen the Alien and Omni-Man. The two report in to Allen's boss at the Coalition of Planets, reveal the big secret of how the Vilrumite empire is a bit of a paper shell and go looking for the deadly items and people Omni-Man had left hints about in his books...
And then its Marvel in space. First with Nova. Where a Xandarian ship falls out of the Fault broadcasting a distress beacon. Which leads Rich and the Corps into a confrontation with Monark Starstalker. Wow. Now THERES an obscure character to pull out...
The Guardians of the Galaxy are lost in time! Well the ones that Starhawk sent forward before anyways. I gotta say I love the variant GoG led by Kilraven with a version of Wonderman thats actually pretty cool. Yeah who would have thought that could happen...
And finally Avengers: The Initiative shows the cracks in Osborn's brilliant plan starting up. Though it looks to be costly for the Secret New Avenger Warrior team...
Urgh.
Why the fuck are there FIVE fucking Avengers teams? Oh well, at least this one hints that the good-guy ones stay in touch somehow...
