Went to see it last night. Excellent movie. Cute, funny, sad and touching at various points. I think I still like Wall-E more, but this is very much one of Pixar's best, I especially loved the doggies...

I think it was better than Wall-E. I'm pretty sure it was better than Monster's Inc but still hesitant. I don't know if it was better than the Incredibles. I think Incredibles still wins that one.

Incredibles is by far my fave. The "dad" moments related well to me so it was more personal on that level.

Did you get a Miyazaki vibe off the movie? It felt like a subtle nod to his style of film.

It did have a bit of his feel to it. Especially Kiki's Delivery Service...

yeah the airship, the plane-flying talking dogs (instead of pigs or cats), and a magical beastie that needs to be protected, It was like some moments it became Delivery of the Magic House Castle to the Valley of the Wind.
