Ok, yeah. I can see why people talk up this movie. And some truly brutal looking boxing to finish it up...

Take Rocky and Rocky Balboa, ignoring all the others, and you have a great GREAT movie and sequel combination. A one-two punch if you will. :)

I shouldn't even watch the one with Mr. T?

The only really great thing about Rocky III (the one with Mr. T.) is the *VERY* last scene... and everything up until that point is basically filler & setup to get to that scene.

Personally, I liked Rocky II and thought it was a worthy successor to the first movie... but it does get a little silly in the first 5-10 minutes. And not everyone likes it, so it truly is a matter of personal preference.

Rocky IV was just plain stupid. I must admit I never saw Rocky V or Rocky Balboa.

Rocky IV was awesome. Bad, absolutely, it was very bad.

But it was still AWESOME.

There's a reason Stallone has two Academy Awards.
