Why are we going INTO the ship? Small, tight quarters can't at ALL help us. Man, I wanted to sit up in the rigging and drop minor summonings into the middle of fights. But Davan is just a lowly kobold and genius bard. No way I can stay on deck alone...

I hear that kind of complaint a lot, but if you don't have any Profession (sailor), no captain is going to let you into the rigging. At best you'll be in the way. At worst you'll get one of his men killed.

I think we're on plan D now with the whole leaving the deck bit. I still say we should have gone with my and Spoony's Battle-rager priest's plan of burning the slaver ship as it docked. Sure the rest of the group wants a ship as part of some longer plan for assaulting the main slaver base, but we've got money. We could have found another boat...
