He's a damned cop-killer!. You're my age, so I know you can remember the giant controversy and shit-storm that blew up over someone just calling a SONG "Cop-Killer". And you've spent over a year having your writers push Norman as heroic in the public eye. And now Bendis, the fucking writer who wrote the fucking comic where he fucking KILLED A DOZEN FUCKING COPS, is writing your book where Norman gets named to take over as head of the Avengers and the orginization thats meant to replace S.H.I.E.L.D. Do you understand what SUPSENSION OF DISBELIEF is? Because isn't how you make that work!

For all the outrage the nation showed over Speedball blowing up a chunk of suburban real-estate, you'd think people would remember a guy who used to fly around on a fucking jet-powered surfboard and throw pumpkin-shaped bombs at school buses.

But then, it makes about as much sense as the entire world forgetting that one of the most iconic, recognizable, and most publicized superheroes in history unmasked and revealed his identity on national TV.

I need Tylenol.

Quesada and Bendis don't care about story or character or world continuity. For them it is all about:
1. Sales (It it makes money, who cares if the characters don't act like thmeselves?)
2. Ego (Its there universe now, and they can do whatever they want with it)
The sad thing is that DiDino is doing the same damn thing at DC, with the addendum of of a third factor, Bodycount (Let's see how many characters I can kill before getting booted as Editor and Chief)
I am so sick of what is going on at Marvel & DC, I haven't bough a single book from either company since the beginning of Civil War & 52. (Although I heard that both Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy are amazing)
Currently my Comic list includes Savage Tales, Invincible, Hellboy, Conan, the Goon, Dynamo 5, Fear Agent, Jack Staff, GrimJack, Jon Sable, & the Nocturnals.
Sadly, It will stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Outrage needs time to simmer. The more I see of this OverStory the more annoyed I get. And I'm really only getting ONE title it should affect. Its just soooo stupid...

So.... Quesada had the next few months of Marvel planned around a McCain win, I see.

To say nothing of this whole story-line - including Norman being put in charge of The Thunderbolts in the first place - having been the end result of Civil War. Which was written by Mark Millar. Who also wrote the gawds-awful Spider-Man mini-series/Hush rip-off which outed Norman as a super-villain to the public in the first place... or did THAT not happen now because of "Brand New Day"?
