After starting and then stopping several attempts at pieces, I decided to change my original choice of [profile] creativedv8tion's interest in world domination to kinky sex and then to wrestling.

NS: And welcome back for hour two of Blood & Glory's Monday Night Clash! I'm Noah Spoonman and as always, with me at ringside is J.R. “the Big Man” Lee. Its been an amazing night so far, has it not Big Man?

JRL: Hell yeah! Tonight we've seen the return of the Lords of Misrule, accepting a challenge from the Dogg Pound for a Tag Team Title match at Bloody Sunday.

NS: Plus we had J.T. Dillon winning that handicap match against the Abel Brothers to earn another shot at the World Championship. And even better, Commissioner Moses has declared that the match will take place at Bloody Sunday as well! And that means the Caine/Tiger Terry match becomes a Triple Threat.

JRL: I saw it and can still hardly believe it! And still to come we've got the final match in the Cruiserweight #1 Contender Tournament. With Crash and the Banzai Kid having battled thru the rest of the division. With the winner of that bout going on to Bloody Sunday to face Jenny Grim for the belt.

NS: Its going to be a Bloody Sunday to remember indeed Big Man! But first lets take a look back at the gauntlet our challengers have had to run to get to this point. It all began over three weeks ago, just after Fall Brawl, when the Commissioner declared that the #1 Contender for the Cruiserweight championship would be determined by a single elimination, no disqualifications tournament. Sixteen daredevils and highflyers put their bodies on the line for the chance at the gold.

JRL: Just the kind of non-stop action B&G fans expect and demand Noah! And lets take a look back at that first round.

*The Banzai Kid lands the Atomizer (turnbuckle suplex) on Lash Lacroix. *

*Alex Lucard hits Johnny Nova with the Guillotine (rope launched bulldog). *

*Terry Wild reverses Crimson Joe's spine-buster into the Starmaker (DDP). *

*The Weasel forces Samedi to tap with a cross-face hold. *

JRL: Even in the first half of round one the newly returned Banzai Kid was making a strong showing. But his success was hardly assured given who he still had to face.

*El Diable Perro hits Rajii Rhodes with a roll up after a moonsault. *

*Ziggy Brogan, with an outside assist from the rest of the Dogg Pound, pins Hector Morenez. *

*Stevie Grell drops Fast Eddie with a chair shot to the face and then pins him. *

*Crash pins Kenny Lasky after hitting him with a power bomb. *

NS: With the rest of the Dogg Pound in his corner my money was Ziggy as a lock for that #1 Contender spot.

*EDP/Ziggy match, with constant interferance by James Fryes & Leroy Hawke of the Dogg Pound. As well as manager Gregory “Mongrel” White. *

NS: Even fan favorite Crash seemed out-of-luck, despite his hard fought victory over Stevie Grell.

*Grell and Crash battling back-stage, then down the ramp and back into the ring. Where Crash locks in the Wrecker (sharpshooter) on Grell, who taps out. *

NS: But Crash got some unexpected help from the Good Ol' Boys, who were still angry with the Dogg Pound for screwing them out of their title shot.

*GOB brawling with the Dogg Pound outside the ring, while Crash turns Ziggy's attempt at a suplex into a choke slam and roll up combo. *

JRL: And the Banzai Kid and the Weasel faced off for nearly an hour after getting past Lucard and Wild.

*Lucard hits Guillotine, TBK kicks out and then hits Banzai Drop (flying leg drop from ring post). *

*The Weasel catches Wild with missile drop kick after attempted clothes line, then hits frog splash. *

JRL: But the Kid managed to finally get the Weasel into the middle of the ring. And, locked into the liontamer, the Toronto Terror had no choice but to tap.

*TBK and the Weasel, both busted open, with the Weasel tapping out of the submission hold. *

JRL: Which all leads us to tonights match. The Banzai Kid. Crash. Two former tag team partners. Two former Cruiserweight champions.

NS: And two men willing to do anything for another chance to strap the gold around their waist. And we'll be hearing from both, right after this brief break.
