A secondary but related point for anyone who has done or attempted playing a Crossgender character in a LARP. Or even seen someone else attempting it. How well did it work out? During my Vampire LARP days I only knew 2 people who ever managed to really pull it off. One was a preop transexual (female to male) and the other a transvestite (male to female)...
