R.I.P. Mike Awesome

According to the Observer article, "Friends were coming to his home in Tampa to pick him up and go out Saturday night at about 10:30 p.m. and he never answered the door and found him hanging in the home. It is believed the death was due to suicide pending results of the autopsy." DOIWrestling.com is reporting that, "according to a friend of Awesome, Awesome was suffering from diabetes and had lost alot of weight. While this is all speculation now, it looks like the disease caused depression, hence Mike taking his own life."
Mike "Awesome" Alfonso was 42.
