Pathfinder: Brendans Session 14 & 15

Had a longer than usual break between sessions due to a child's birthday.  Stupid children and their enjoyment of celebrations of aging!  Anyway in the fourteenth sesssion our group moved up to the 3rd floor to look for more mini-bosses to stomp so that we could then hopefully go back and take out the main boss.  This lead us to a balcony type area and a trio of what were probably the last of the castles' gargoyle brutes.  Which we seemed to handle well enough, despite E missing the session and thus we were short one arcane archer.  At least things went easily enough until some kind of arch-devil ambushed us while flying and under greater invisibility.  Which led to the death of poor Ona? Una?  Krogar the 1/2 orc's witch follower.  She was wrung out like a wash-cloth by some nasty area effect withering spell...

The batlle with the devil led into the next session and the return of Thrumm the archer.  And also to the devil getting glitterdusted for a second time and then having her greater invisibility dispelled.  And her falling to a final crit from said archer.  After that the rest of the session was finishing up mapping the rest of the top level, finding a secret treasure room (thanks to Krogar's use of Knowledge: Engineering) and then the hoard of the ancient dragon/warlord/evil crown.  So we stopped there, pausing to rest and let Thrumm and Terry the Halfling Priest finish up the bookkeeping for their leveling...
