Pathfinder: Brendan Session 5

Finished up the bookkeeping from last session's rest period and we started back across the bridge to the castle again.  And about halfway got jumped by a trio of oversized mutant gargoyles.  Though thanks to a quick blade barrier from one of the NPC clerics, they weren't able to mob us and so weren't as bad a threat as they could have been.  But they also managed to call out their boss before expiring.  Who is a big ass umbral dragon.  Which is where we called it, right at the top of a new round with the dragon within a hundred feet of the group, still in the middle of the bridge.

I hate fighting level-draining beasties.  Keeping track of what you can and can't do after an energy drain mid-fight is such a headache...
