Cloud Atlas

While the movie has more than a few excellent scenes and good story ideas, the crazyquilt nature doesn't really mesh that well. The comedic nursing home jailbreak especially doesn't fit well with the other stories. And the crusading journalist story has a conspiracy concept that just had me rolling my eyes. And while interesting in concept, the using the same actors in different eras under different makeup is more jarring than effective...
