New Comics Day 11/17/10
Nov. 17th, 2010 09:19 pmThis month sees the 150th issue of Thunderbolts. With Juggernaut, Ghost and Crossbones going on a evaluation mission with Thor, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. Things shockingly don't go as planned. All in an oversized issue. And then to further justify the extra two buck price tag there is a fairly entertaining rundown of the entire series from the perspective of Songbird and Moonstone. PLUS a reprint of the first issue...
Darkwing Duck continues with St. Canard under siege from an army of other-dimensional Darkwing doppelgangers. I especially like Dark Darkwing. 'Cause he has a tank and spiky shoulder pads...
And the week finishes with the finale for Mouse Guard: Legends of the Guard. A retelling of the Thorn in the Lion's Paw story, a silent story about Guardmouse Sadie and the story of what happened to the last of the Mouse-Kings. Also, even if I weren't planning on buying several for X-Mas gifts, I'd want the hardcover edition of the series just for that sweet looking cover...
