New Comics Day 9/15/10
Sep. 15th, 2010 04:25 pmAnother light week, fleshed out with the first two issues of Boom! Studios' Darkwing Duck series. Which is a great book, good enough that I think even those who didn't grow up on Disney's afternoon cartoon block will enjoy it...
The second issue of The Avengers & the Infinity Gauntlet has the New Avengers team (Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Dr. Doom and Ms. Marvel) heading into space aboard the interglatic rig of U.S. Archer, Space Trucker...
Thunderbolts goes from the previous issue's prison riot to a cross-over with..sigh..Shadowland. Which is the multi-title story of Daredevil taking over the Hand and using them to fight crime. Or be evil. Or something. The important thing here is that it means the 'bolts get to fight hordes of ninjas...
Finally the latest issue of the Unwritten is done in a Choose-Your-Own-Adventrue style. Letting the reader pick their path thru Lizzie Hexam/Jane Waxman's backstory...
