She's Out of My League

A very by-the-numbers romantic comedy. With two date montage sequences. Some funny moments, a decent reunion climax and the now obligatory bodily fluid/penis related humor. In this case numerous jokes based around a moment of premature ejaculation and an odd scene involving testicle shaving. Jay Baruchel is likable enough as the lead, for someone who spends most of the movie as a friendly doormat. And his collection of friend/sidekicks don't break any new ground but are decent enough. I do have to say that while Alice Eve is pretty hot, I don't find her to be jaw-dropping, crowd halting, super hot the way the movie pushes her. I guess I'm just not that impressed by Hollywood standard Barbie-doll looks...
